Our Oak Point Plant originally occupied 45 acres of land and employed 25 people. It has been expanded to 100 acres and now has more than 350 employees.
Oronite operates three world-class manufacturing plants to supply products in a timely and cost efficient manner. In addition to these main facilities, we operate a smaller facility in Maua, Brazil and joint venture plants located in India, Mexico and Japan.

Oronite's first manufacturing site, our Oak Point plant is located in Belle Chase, Louisiana on the banks of the Mississippi River. It was originally designed to produce diesel engine additives during World War II and has been expanded and upgraded numerous times to keep pace with the demands of today's marketplace.
Oronite's Gonfreville plant is the largest additive manufacturing plant in Europe. It is centrally located in Le Havre, France to allow access to transportation networks allowing us to deliver product to our customers via barges, marine vessels, trucks and rail cars.
The Singapore plant was built in 1998 to keep pace with the dynamic long-term growth potential of Oronite's customers and the petroleum products industry in the Asia Pacific region.
The Maua plant was built in 1978 and started operations in 1980. The plant operates competitively in the South America region marketplace. It is located in one of the most important industrial complexes of Brazil and is close to Santos Port, the largest Port of South America.
