Changes in the applications of lubricant and fuel additive technology are driven by many factors. As Oronite looks to the future needs of our customers, we consider all of these, including the following:

• Growth in regional markets and the need for secure supply
• Industry consolidation
• Advent of alternative fuels such as biofuels and GTL (gas to liquid)
• Regulatory requirements for registration of chemicals
• Changes in base stock types and sources
• Changes in engine design, fuel specifications and exhaust after-treatment technology.

Applying Innovation

Oronite puts a strong emphasis on understanding the evolution of technology and future trends, so that we can apply this knowledge to our product development.
